Step 1

In a well-ventilated space, cover a flat surface with a drop cloth or tarp.

Step 3

In a separate area from where you will paint, ensure the surface of the croquet mallets and balls are clean, dull, and dry. Use medium grit sandpaper to remove any uneven surface if necessary and then wipe clean of any debris.

Step 2

Paint the exposed area of the mallets using Chalky Finish Paint in Anvil Gray, Cotton Candy Pink, Tidal Blue, Classic White, and Fusion All-In-One Matte Red Pepper.

Step 4

Once the mallet is fully dry, tape around the bare spots previously covered with painter's tape to avoid overspray.

Step 6

Once the newly sprayed portion is dry to the touch, remove the tape from the surrounding areas.

BALLS

Step 1

To create a look similar to the mallets, use a strip of painter's tape to tape off the middle portion of the balls.

Step 3

Once the balls are dry to the touch, remove the painter's tape.

Step 5

Spray the spots that were previously covered with painter's tape with Chalky Finish Paint in Classic White.

Step 7

Wait for the balls to dry completely.
