Wooden closet doors
Painter’s tape
Construction paper or cardboard

Sandpaper
High-quality paint brush

Remove the closet doors from the frame and place them in an area separate from where you will paint. Use a fine-grit sandpaper to sand the closet doors, then use a clean rag to remove any sanding dust, ensuring that the surface of the doors is clean, dull, and dry before spray painting.

When the Brilliant Metallic Brush-On if fully dry, use a high-quality paint brush to apply Krylon Glitter Finish in Gold on top of the Brilliant Metallic Gold. For buildable coverage, apply 1, 2, or 3 coats. The more coats applied, the more opaque the glitter finish will appear.

When the glitter finish is fully dry, remove the painter’s tape and construction paper or cardboard from the surrounding areas. If you were unable to remove the door’s hardware, remove the painter’s tape from these areas as well. Otherwise, reattach them and hang the door back in its frame.
