Consumers use a wide range of devices and brands need to ensure assets display well and keep their core visual message on any of them. With the Image Focal Points, your visitors always get the best view of your images, no matter what device or screen resolution they are using.

The Image Focal Points app allows you to associate images with focal point data for more effective cropping amongst different devices and screen sizes. 

It offers options to select the part of a DAM image to display per range of screen resolution. You can configure the variation sets according to the screen resolutions you wish to target, and select the section of the image to display per configured screen resolution. 

This module offers different focal features:

• Focal areas: (Legacy) Allow the editors to choose the areas of the images to display per screen ratio
• Focal point: Allow the editors to choose the focal point on the original image
• Focal hotspot: Allow the editors to define hotspots on their images and to attach any type of field(s)
