The Magnolia connector for Adyen allows the integration of Adyen's payment gateway through ready-made component templates. The main advantage of this kind of integration is the ability to sell products without needing a cart or an ecommerce tool.
With this integration, end users can:
Buy products on Magnolia websites without any e-commerce integration.
Configure the product they are going to buy through guided form steps.
Simply select the product they want to buy through unique product sales.
From the editors' point of view, they can:
Configure any product to be sold through form steps, with a single price and/or add-on prices where the last step would be comercia's checkout page.
Configure a product with a single price, which leads directly to Adyen's checkout page.
Review/manage orders generated from Magnolia websites. The management is currently done in Adyen's dashboard.
