Solutions Architect (Back-End)

As a Solutions Architect (Back-End), you will become a Magnolia Java development expert, providing customers the guidance they need to successfully implement Magnolia by overseeing new and existing customers during their initial implementation or version upgrade, by empowering customers to build integrations and extensions onto our core product capabilities, and by delivering our monthly intensive back-end training course.

 

The details

What you will do:
  • Lean on your expertise in programming with JAVA in conjunction with Maven and as well as web applications deployment to Apache Tomcat and similar application servers by providing code review/audit of customer implementation and setup of Magnolia, including upgrades to new versions of Magnolia.
  • Become a Magnolia capabilities expert, advising clients and partners on how to develop their future technology / martech stack based on your experience creating leading solutions.
  • Become a product expert, acting as an escalation point to help craft solutions for escalated customer support tickets and issues accurately within 72 hours of escalation.
  • Lean on your expertise in front-end and back-end coding languages to deliver a monthly back-end developer training course to new and existing clients.
  • Gain a full understanding of our product marketplace, incubator modules and 3rd party integrations to guide clients and partners to extend their use of Magnolia to meet their marketing technology needs, leverage your experience in the modern technology stacks such as headless front-end applications (REACT preferred), GraphQL, client-side scripting, and APIs 
What you bring in:
  • Expertise: Several years of experience with a combination of  front-end web technology (JS, CSS, HTML, web server,  Databases, headless applications like REACT, GraphQL, client-side scripting and APIs), back-end programming (JAVA in conjunction with Maven and Tomcat),  and cloud environments (PaaS and SaaS solutions in conjunction with an understanding of Kubernetes and Headless solutions).
  • Communication: You can clearly articulate without being overly verbose or talkative across all channels of communication to effectively answers questions
  • Attentiveness: You are able to remain focused on the solution and not let important details slip through the cracks or derail a project
  • Responsibility: You are willing to take responsibility for customers care and handle requests without transfers or escalations
  • Efficiency: You are able to produce significant output with minimal wasted effort and organize / plan effectively, focusing on key priorities
  • Self-Control: You maintain stable performance when under heavy pressure or stress; remains calm and professional, and positive when faced with pessimism
